How can I remove my tape-in extensions?
Removing tape-ins is just as easy as applying them. With our tape remover, you can remove the adhesive strips from your natural hair and the strands without leaving any residue. You can then reuse your extensions. With the appropriate Replacement tapes you can simply re-stick them and attach them to your hair again.
This is how to remove the tapes:
- Apply a small amount of tape remover between the adhesive strips and massage it in. After a brief contact time, you can then loosen the adhesive strips with a tail comb and carefully pull them out of your hair.
- If it still feels a bit tugging or pulling, you can apply more tape remover to the strand and repeat the process. You can then easily remove any remaining adhesive residue from your natural hair using a comb.
- If you want to use the extensions again right away, simply remove any remaining adhesive from the strands and let them dry thoroughly. Then you can apply the new adhesive strips and reattach the tape-ins to your natural hair.
So, reusing your tape-in extensions is quite easy. With a little practice, you'll become more and more adept and faster over time if you repeat the process every four to eight weeks.
